The popular east coast frozen treat spot Rita's Italian Ice said Monday it will open its first location in Colorado Springs this summer. The store will be located in the Plaza at Chapel Hills shopping complex, near Briargate and Academy boulevards.
The store said a soft opening was scheduled for late June, however an exact date has not been released.
In addition to its popular Italian ice, the store will offer custard, sundaes, milkshakes, and other frozen drinks. The new location will become the third store in Colorado.
