Join us as we continue to showcase Italy's regional richness and diversity in our popular series "Taste the Regions". Each time, native experts introduce us to a different Italian region or city presenting its history, geography and culinary traditions in an informal and fun format. For the first appointment of 2016, we will discover Puglia, the "heel" of the Italian boot, a charming region full of history, traditions and flavors.
Thursday, January 14th, 6:30 - 8:30 PM, ICC instructor and Italian native Luisa O'Gara will introduce us to Puglia where she herself was born and raised. She will take us through its geography and local culture. You will sample local wines and cheeses, traditional food and desserts. Luisa will guide us through many of Puglia's large and small towns, with their castles and ancient structures, rustic landscapes and extensive coastline bordering the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Please contact Peggy at info@theitalianculturalcenter.org with your questions. Register now! Our food & wine events are very popular and we expect to sell out.
