Earlier this year, it was reported that a popular Italian restaurant in Boston's South End had been sold and that it would go through a slight name change when reborn. Now we have learned that it is in the process of opening. According to a post from BosGuy, Casa Giacomo's plans to soft-open tonight on Columbus Avenue initially only for walk-ins for dinner.
As mentioned earlier, the team behind Kava Neo-Taverna and Ilona (also in the South End) are running the place, which had originally been home to a location of Giacomo's; the other three locations of that restaurant in Boston's North End, Melrose, and Wayland remain open and under original management. The address for Casa Giacomo's is 431 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA, 02116.
