Food and music lovers are in for a treat on Saturday, when Chef Vito Marcello hosts the first-ever Cranmore Food and Wine event at Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway. It will take place in a tent at the base of the mountain from 3-6 p.m. Special guest will be Salvatore Ferragamo, vintner from Il Borro Wine of Tuscany, Italy, and namesake grandson of one of Europe’s most recognizable designers.

According to Marcello, owner of Vito Marcello’s Italian Bistro of Seavey Street in North Conway, “I have been wanting to do a wine event like this for 10 years — and what better place to do it than right up the street from my restaurant, at Cranmore, the birthplace of American skiing? And to bring Tuscany to the White Mountains — not just Tuscany but Salvatore Ferragamo.”
