Chef and owner Will Gilson’s sprawling new three restaurant compound at Cambridge Crossing is now complete, with Geppetto opening today. The Italian restaurant — which Gilson called Geppetto to give it an “Italian-ish” vibe — opens alongside sibling restaurants Café Beatrice and the Lexington. And like its siblings, Geppetto is only offering takeout and delivery for the time being, though it plans to open its 74 seat dining room in the spring.
“We are so glad to give our guests a taste of the final piece of the Cambridge Crossing puzzle with the opening of Geppetto,” said Gilson in a press release. “We understand that in today’s current climate, the takeout and delivery options will give guests a sneak peek of what we are doing, food-wise, while we look to open our dining room at Geppetto up in the spring.”
