A taste of the North End is coming to town. Giacomo’s Ristorante has signed a long-term lease to move into the former Bertucci’s location at Wayland Town Center on Rte. 20, according to Chris McMahon, director of brokerage at Lexington-based Summit Realty Partners.
Opening is planned by the end of this year, McMahon said. Wayland is Giacomo’s fourth location, following Boston’s North and South ends and Melrose. It’s the first Giacomo’s to serve pizza, using components from the brick oven once used by Bertucci’s.
