Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is offering 'The Art of Cooking Italian Food' on Thursday, November 14, as part of its popular Culinary Series. Teresa Galli, raised in Rome, Italy and now a resident of Tuscany, will share her passion for cooking, an endeavor which she looks upon as an art. Teresa regularly holds classes in Italy and her cooking covers a broad spectrum of Italian dishes. She insists on the best and healthiest quality of ingredients and tries to stay away from fat. Her hands-on approach to teaching is a fast and fun method of learning.
The class will take place from 5:45 to 9 at the Jones residence in Dorset, Vt. A seated dinner with wine will follow the cooking instruction. The cost to attend is $75 per person. Space is limited; register now by visiting greenmtnacademy.org, or call 802-867-0111.
