Since opening its doors in February, Fox & the Knife has garnered local and national acclaim, with James Beard award winner Karen Akunowicz at the helm. Five months later, the victory train shows no sign of slowing.
The Italian enoteca in Southie just landed on Eater’s 2019 Best New Restaurants in America list, a roster of 16 restaurants that made an impression this year. Curated by a handful of Eater editors, the list features newcomers from across the country — Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Oregon, Texas — and spans a wide range of cuisines, from Indian to Korean to Mexican.
