A celebrated New Haven restaurant will be a little closer to home for North Haven residents. Adriana’s Restaurant and Wine Bar is opening a second location, at 344 Washington Ave. where Leon’s Restaurant formerly operated. “When Leon’s left, it was always my goal to bring another high-end restaurant to that area,” First Selectman Michael J. Freda said. And Adriana’s was at the top of his list.
“We’re thrilled Adriana’s will be opening a second restaurant in town,” Freda said. Freda and the executive chef at Adriana’s, who goes by Valentino, put the plan into motion earlier this year. Valentino said Adriana’s has been planning its second location for a long time, but other locations didn’t fit.
