Casasalvo, an Italian cafe, market, and espresso bar, opened a third Manhattan location on the Upper East Side on Thursday. The new eatery – at 1491 Second Avenue near East 78th Street – will offer Italian breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, pasta dishes, and coffee of all kinds.
Remarkably, all coffee and espresso beverages – including a legendary pistachio latte – are priced at $2.50 per cup. Market goods will also be available, from pasta and other pantry staples to cheeses and meats.
