Elvio DeCilla has been a part of the restaurant industry since he was 12 years old, working in a little Italian restaurant owned by his parents in New York City. Maybe that's why at Elvio's Pizzeria & Restaurant there's a sign touting his pizza to be the "best north of the Bronx"!
His mother's family came from Sicily, his dad's from Naples, Italy, and Elvio makes his dough daily, the old-fashioned way: from scratch, and it's a family recipe that has been kept secret for over 50 years.
