Gruppo Italiano (GI) and Vinomatica held a special wine tasting, Enjoy, It’s From Europe!, at Il Gattopardo in New York. Guests were introduced to signature Italian wines that will potentially find their place in the American market as well. The event was promoted by and featured Consorzio Vini di Romagna; Consorzio Tutela del Lambrusco di Modena; Consorzio Marchio Storico dei Lambruschi modenesi; and Consorzio Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena.

Il Gattopardo is a member of GI, an organization whose mission is to popularize authentic Italian cuisine, Italian wines and Italian products, and enhance their image in the United States through education, member restaurants, events and promotions. The organization provides a constant flow of information about Italian cuisine to member restaurants, US press, culinary schools, importers, distributors and general consumers with a serious interest in authentic Italian food.
