Get ready New York! Opening soon, a new fresh pasta dining experience is coming to Eataly NYC Flatiron: Il Pastaio di Eataly. Meaning "the pasta maker," Il Pastaio di Eataly will offer fresh, housemade pasta dishes, prepared daily by our very own pastai. Inspired by the ancient art of pasta making and generations of Italian culinary secrets, our team of chefs and head pasta maker, Luca Donofrio, have teamed up to create a menu of regional Italian fresh pasta dishes, such as the veal-stuffed agnolotti del plin typical of Piemonte to the saffron-enriched malloreddus gnocchi of Sardegna.
And because we believe that the more you know, the more you enjoy, we're also bringing the art of fresh pasta making to the table with La Pasta del Tavolo! Watch and learn from Eataly's featured pastaio as they knead, roll, cut, and shape a specialty pasta right in front of you at a table just behind the bar. In addition to at least nine different fresh pasta dishes paired with regional sauces, Il Pastaio's menu will feature small bites, housemade dessert (think: Tiramisù), and a unique selection of regional Italian wine and beer by the glass.
