The awarding ceremony of the Italian Food Awards USA 2018, the most innovative Italian products presented in the USA trade show Summer Fancy Food 2018, took place yesterday at the Javits Convention Center (River Pavilion) in New York City. The second edition of the Italian Food Awards USA was organized by Italianfood.net, the international B2B integrated project of Gruppo Food, supported by the Specialty Food Association (SFA) and Universal Marketing.

A total of 160 products from 96 Italian companies exhibiting at the Summer Fancy Food Show 2018 were voted by a jury composed of US retailers, importers, and distributors. The winners were selected from 11 product categories. Three special awards went to Packaging, Innovation, and Sustainability. The awards have been created to highlight the most creative and versatile food products that better respond to growing U.S. consumer demand for certified quality, natural ingredients, and sustainable innovation.
