When one New York Italian restaurant closes, another one opens. Such is the case for Lulla, a dining room serving up Italian-inspired fare at the site of the former Bar Cicchetti. The new restaurant, which opened Sept. 6 on the first and second floors of Chelsea’s Motto by Hilton location (113 W 24th St.), offers a modern American twist on Italian classic fare for breakfast, brunch and dinner, according to its website.
Menu offerings include hand cut fettuccine, red gem salad, branzino, skirt steak and tiramisu overnight oats. You can view a full menu here. “Inspired by the rich melding of cultures throughout New York City, Lulla is a thoroughly modern homage to Italian dining,” the restaurant’s website reads. “Lulla celebrates classic Italian flavors while embracing the singular essence of New York City dining.”
