A New York City Italian restaurant is opening in the heart of historic Roslyn Village. Felice, an all-day dining concept, will open Sept. 30 at 1382 Old Northern Boulevard. The restaurant is owned by SA Hospitality Group. Its culinary director is Iacopo Falai, a native Florentine. The executive chef is Niccolo Simone, who was born in Florence and studied at Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School.
The eatery features classic Italian dishes and wines. Menu offerings include crostone ricotta, featuring fresh ricotta, Italian linden spicy honey, figs and sliced almonds; homemade pasta such as baked gnocchi formaggio e tartufo with 24-month aged Parmigiano-Reggiano, taleggio, gruyere, blue cheese and black truffle; and linguine ai frutte di mare with Tuscan style mixed seafood, white wine sauce, garlic, fresh parsley and crushed cherry tomatoes.
