The owner of Ralph's Italian Ices and Ice Cream was emphatic when he said, "We'll be open (Friday)." The local summer hot spot was supposed to close at 11:59 p.m. Thursday after the village revoked its certificate of occupancy and adopted a resolution denying an application for a special use permit.
But the owner, Scott Rosenberg, said Thursday night that he's filing an injunction early Friday to keep the shop open. "Win, lose or draw, we're going to cost the village a lot of money," Rosenberg said. "But we just want to figure out a good situation for everyone."
