Diners reluctant to head to the Strip for an authentic taste of Chicago-style stuffed pizza can rush to Boca Park to satisfy a deep dish craving. Giordano’s is now serving inside the 5,089-square-foot former home of an Applebee's Grill & Bar in a standalone building on the southern side of the retail center. The 43-year-old Chicago legend debuted at the Grand Bazaar Shops in late 2016, successful enough to further expand to a separate outdoor dining and drinking venue in the middle of the retail promenade.
The new venue has mounted lit signage urging its customers to “eat pizza” stacked so full of cheese, it can result in the famous, long “cheese pull” when removing a slice. The westside location is currently only open for lunch from Friday to Monday, offering midday specials of a main course and side, with the option of choosing a 6-inch individual pizza.
