The Sicilian Butcher will soon be slicing up its popular Italian eats in the Southeast Valley. Scottsdale-based the Maggiore Group plans to open a second location of its north Phoenix concept in Chandler at the Viridian PrimeGate development. It will occupy a 4,600-square-foot space at 3151 W. Frye Road and is slated to open in December. The Sicilian Butcher specializes in build-your-own meals including meatballs, pastas and charcuterie boards. The Chandler restaurant also will provide to-go service and a marketplace that will feature a build-your-own cannoli bar.
“In addition to the incredible location, what really drew me to PrimeGate over other possibilities was that the architecture and setting was unlike anything else we’d seen. I thought about how positively that would reflect our brand too,” said Joey Maggiore, co-founder and executive chef with the Maggiore Group, in a statement.
