Bruno's Forno owner Zoran Milanovic was a dedicated customer when Bruno Iezzi himself recruited Milanovic to take over the small Italian restaurant in Honolulu's Chinatown last year. Now, Milanovic is searching for another Bruno's Forno heir before he closes the shop at the end of the month. Milanovic, a portfolio manager at CitiGroup in Dallas, says he initially had hopes of expanding the restaurant, but managing it has become too challenging for his family of four.
"My idea was to keep it forever, but things have changed," he told PBN. "I've been back and forth between Dallas and it's been all on [my wife] Yuya to do it, but it's a big endeavor for one person."
