The pleasure of seeing the hands of high skilled artisans at work can definitely be heightened if the set is a 17th century Florentine garden. That's the formula of "Artigianato & Palazzo , an outdoor fair held in Florence until Sunday, 15 May, dedicated to the culture of "fatto a mano," Italian-style handmade production.

For nearly 20 years, the fair has been held in the Corsini gardens, in the heart of Florence, renowned for their orangeries and sculptures from 17th century. This year, about 90 artisans are holding their little workshops among the lavender hedges and lemon trees, and visitors can discover how they create their objects by hand by watching them work there.
