The Rete delle Città Medievali Italiane is a significant collaboration between various municipalities across Italy, all unified by a common goal: to showcase and promote their medieval heritage. This initiative wants to highlight the architectural beauty and historical depth of its member cities, as well as to create an immersive tourism experience for all visitors interested in history, architecture, and culture.
Key to this effort is the partnership with the Italian National Tourism Agency (ENIT), which highlights the strategic importance of the medieval period in Italy’s broader tourism narrative. The agency’s involvement ensures the creation of strong promotional strategies and the development of tourism products catering specifically to people interested in the Middle Ages.
