Murder, betrayal, office politics, temptation. Who says there's nothing good on TV?
Italians have know it for a while, ever since Detective Montalbano hit their airwaves.
We are in luck: MHz Networks is releasing four more episodes of the Italian mystery series on DVD.
Benissimo!
Montalbano solves crimes in the small fictional Southern Italy city of Vigata. As the head of the police precinct, Montalbano balances the demands of his Northern Italian superiors and the realities of local Sicilian crime. He has his own way of doing things, and his superiors regard him as something of a loose cannon. Montalbano's ability to navigate through Sicily's murky world of shady characters with its complex web of relationships and favors, leads to his success.
