The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America's (OSDIA) “Capitolo di Roma” #3002, the organization's first chapter established outside of the American continent, has elected a new board. OSDIA, founded as the "Ordine dei Figli d’Italia" in 1905 in New York, represents one of the most significant Italian-American organizations in United States history.

Established to support the integration of Italian immigrants into American society, the organization has distinguished itself over the years through numerous social initiatives, patriotic commitment, and extraordinary philanthropic activity. The assembly of members elected Carmelo Cutuli as the incoming president, alongside Giancarlo Mancuso as vice president and Mario Rapisarda as secretary.

The board, which will remain in office for the next term, is composed of: Pietro Celi, relations with international promotional bodies; Palmiro Noschese, Herald (Master of Ceremonies); Gaetano Papa, relations with service clubs; Andrea Pietrini, relations with American universities in Italy; Paolo Quattrocchi, relations with Canada; Fabio Reali, relations with religious and third sector entities; Pietro Viola, relations with international Chambers of Commerce.

President Cutuli stated: "It is an honor for me to chair the Rome Chapter of OSDIA. An organization for which, in 2019, I gave support in establishing the first chapter outside of American continent in over 100 years of its history. We will work with our usual commitment to continue the organization's mission, promoting Italian-American culture and strengthening ties between Italy and the United States. I thank members for their trust in me and the outgoing board, chaired by Dr. Andrea Pietrini, for the excellent work done."

The Rome Chapter of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (www.osdia.org) aims to spread the values and traditions of OSDIA in our country, contributing to consolidating relations between Italian-American communities and the motherland.
