Alle prossime elezioni dei Comites potranno votare solo i connazionali che si iscriveranno nell'elenco degli elettori presso il Consolato di riferimento.
Inizialmente, il termine per questa iscrizione era stato fissato in 50 giorni prima delle elezioni; nel passaggio del decreto alla Camera, è stato approvato un emendamento – a prima firma Garavini – che abbassa questo termine a 30 giorni.
