The land that elevated coffee to an art form is now making it a science. The new international research and innovation center for coffee inaugurated in recent days by espresso machine maker Nuova Simonelli Group and the University of Camerino (a small and historic city of less than 7,000 people in the Marche region) will finance courses, research and masters.
It is also a story about business and research teaming up to work on a shared project aimed at enhancing local manufacturing tradition, agribusiness research and Made in Italy culture and competence in order to win the global challenge.
