The U.S.-based United Airlines has reinstated its seasonal direct connection between Venice Marco Polo Airport and its New York/Newark hub, which will be operated daily for the summer period, until Oct. 28. The carrier's service joins existing daily direct flights offered by the carrier from Rome and Milan.
"We are pleased to reinstate our service between Venice and New York/Newark," said Walter Cianciusi, United's country sales manager in Italy. "With the return of the flight from Venice, our customers in the Triveneto area and beyond will have the opportunity to reach more than 60 connecting destinations to the entire American continent. We look forward to welcoming our customers back on board."
For Save's commercial director Camillo Bozzolo, "the early resumption in April of the connection, which has already been reactivated in summer 2022, demonstrates how Venice's catchment area knows how to generate an ever-increasing demand to the United States. The increased capacity offered by the Boeing 777-200Er aircraft, which will operate the route for the first time, confirms United Airlines' focus on intercepting passenger needs and market opportunities."
