According to data compiled by HostMilano’s strategic marketing and taken from the Export Planning information system, in the three-year period 2022-2025, forecasts for the world coffee trade show an annual growth rate of +5.6 percent, close to 43 billion euros.

The United States, with a 22.4 percent share, and Germany, with 14.2 percent, were the main destination markets in terms of sales in 2021, ahead of Italy (6.4 percent), Japan (5.1 percent), Belgium (4.2 percent), and Switzerland (3.8 percent).
