World-famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to be inducted into Mohegan Sun Arena’s Walk of Fame prior to his show this weekend in Connecticut. Bocelli will return to the arena for the first time in 15 years, for a 7:30 p.m. performance on Sunday, Dec. 15. The Walk of Fame induction will happen at 6 p.m., just before showtime.
Mohegan officials said their Walk of Fame recognizes people who have made “major contributions” to Mohegan’s success. Some of the roughly 40 other inductees include Bon Jovi, Kevin Hart, and Taylor Swift. Inductees’ names are etched on a plaque and permanently displayed at the entrance of Mohegan Sun Arena.
