The Friedkin Group, owners of AS Roma, have announced a new project in the USA, where they will help to redevelop the Toyota Stadium, regular home of MLS outfit FC Dallas. The Toyota Stadium is set to undergo a series of major redevelopments, which are expected to begin in 2025 and be completed by 2028. The costs are expected to total around €178m ($192m).
The Friedkin Group, who own Roma and have secured a deal to take over at Everton in the Premier League, have announced that they will provide investment for the redevelopment of the Toyota Stadium in Dallas. The ground was opened 19 years ago in 2005 and cost around €74m ($80m) to build at the time. Calculations suggest that that figure is closer to €120m ($130m) in today’s terms, accounting for inflation.
