Authors Patricia Dunn and Gail Reitano will participate in a hybrid bi-coastal conversation about how the common themes of acceptance and rebellion figure prominently in their novels.
Both books: Italian Love Cake and The Last Stop on the 6 feature strong, independent Italian American women navigating the push and pull between accepting and finding comfort in the previous generations' beliefs and rituals while also rebelling against the inheritance of rigid customs that create obstacles along their path.
