The Pannese Society of Rhode Island, which was founded in 1909, prides itself in the proud Italian-American heritage of its members, brotherhood and promoting numerous important social events. The word "sharing," printed below the Society's logo, best describes what President Joseph Spremulli and the Society's many members enjoy most this time of year.

On Thursday afternoon, Spremulli greeted Dr. Albert J. Murano and Joseph Quartino inside the grocery-filled Our Lady of Grace auditorium for a heart-warming meeting that resulted in a variety of foods that will provide Christmas dinner for at least 29 needy families in and around Johnston.
