
Retired judge Vincent A. Ragosta, a former associate justice of the Rhode Island Superior Court, died Wednesday at the age of 93. Born in Federal Hill, Ragosta interrupted his education at the University of Rhode Island to join the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in military intelligence.
He was appointed by Governor J. Joseph Garrahy as an associate justice of the Rhode Island District Court in 1978, and he became a Superior Court associate justice in 1988.
