Mario Batali is giving New Yorkers "baking" lessons: the Italian superchef is writing a guide on the best places to eat in the city when you're stoned. The toking toque, one of a number of celebrities guest-editing sections for Time Out New York's first issue as a free publication, will oversee its music pages, which will highlight stoner rappers Joey Bada$$ and Heems.
He'll serve the story with a side of his personal selections on top snack spots for those with the 4/20 munchies who aren't content with a bag of Doritos from the gas station. "Mario threw himself into it with gusto," we're told. Confidenti@l even spotted Batali bar-hopping in WIlliamsburg recently.
