Restaurateur and civic leader Joe Benetti has been appointed to the board directors of Oregon Pacific Bank. He officially joined the board May 19. "Joe has been a longtime friend and client of Oregon Pacific Bank," said the bank in an announcement of the appointment.

"Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Joe Benetti grew up heavily influenced by his family's Italian traditions. He fell in love with Oregon's Bay Area during a trip up the Oregon Coast and channeled his fondness of cooking into opening Benetti's Italian Restaurant in 1979.
