
Make room on the table for a plate from Italy. Italian foods are familiar to most Americans — who doesn't love a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs? But there is much more to appreciate about Italian cuisine than just pasta.
I recently was invited to a presentation by Liane Cabot at Nicoletta's Table in Lake Oswego. Cabot is married to an Italian and has traveled to Italy for more than 20 years. Drawing upon her experiences she has launched Artisanal Italy Tours.
