
Tickets are now on sale for the Taste of Italy Gala to be held on Friday, Oct. 5, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lincoln City The annual benefit dinner will start at 5 pm with a no-host wine bar, appetizers, live music and a silent auction. Guests will be served an Italian dinner, including salad, a lasagna, breadsticks and tiramisu. Gluten-free lasagna will also be on offer.
Event organizer Celeste O’Brien said that the gala will furnish funds to strengthen outreach programs to families, the elderly, sick and less fortunate members of the community. The effort will also provide resources to upgrade parish facilities. Seating is by reservation only, with no tickets sold on the door. Advance tickets, $20 per person or $150 for a table of eight, are available by calling 541-994-2216.
