The Chargé d'Affaires Shawn Crowley and Consul General Tracy Roberts-Pounds visited the Museo dello Sbarco di Catania (Catania Landing Museum). The museum tells, through stories, original objects, reproductions, and immersive experiences, a fundamental chapter of our shared history: the Allied landing in Sicily in 1943, which marked the beginning of the liberation of Italy and contributed to the end of World War II.
Places like this keep the memory alive and remind us how important it is to continue defending, together, our shared values.
