Auguri to NIAF Member John E. Nevola for his new book The Final Flag, a historical novel that details the degrading treatment of Italian Americans during World War II. While the U.S. Government drafted Italian American young men to fight overseas, the Government also arrested and jailed without due process, interned, seized properties and forced relocations of Italian Americans at home.
The Final Flag aims to remind Italian Americans to never forget the sacrifices their forbears suffered during the war in order for them to have a better life. All proceeds from the sale of the book are donated to The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund which assists families of the fallen with college tuition. Buy it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2mYId1k.
